About the event

This evening seminar will give a comprehensive introduction to the basic rules of Equity and how we use it to shut down the fraud.

The rules and princilples of Equity and the comon laws of England and Wales remain very relevant here in Aotearoa under section 5 of the Imperial Laws Application Act 1988.

Common law can be used to good affect in our courts providing the man or woman has a comprehensive enough knowlege. Recent cases have shown the courts have been ignoring the common law, this doesn't mean common law doesn't work, it may mean it was the wrong approach under the circumstances. Remember they don't make mistakes.

Learning how to apply Equity to those situations takes the whole process right out of their legal system into the private, which all courts have to recognise. Once you have acheived this they have nothing.

Apply the rules, win the game.
